Buying a Print
Taking an image and post processing is only part of the story. To see an image at its best it really needs to be printed and for that you need top quality printing paper and excellent printing. Both are provided by Loxley Colour, one of the best, if not the best, printing labs in Scotland.
Prints - Paper Types
- Glossy is a shiny finish, printed on Fujicolor Professional DP II Gloss photographic paper.
- Lustre offers the vibrant colors of glossy with a fingerprint-resistant finish. Printed on Fujicolor Professional DP II Lustre photographic paper.
- Metallic offers rich, distinctive prints with a huge WOW! factor. Works well with both colour and black and white images. Printed on Kodak Professional Endura Metallic photographic paper.
- Velvet has a zero-reflective top layer creating a stunningly soft and deep-matte effect. Printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Professional Velvet photographic paper.
Framed and matted prints. There are so many styles and colours of frames available that it is impracticable to display on the website. However, if you would like a frame to go with your print, please get in touch (Contact Form below) and we can show you the range available.
CANVAS GALLERY BLOCKS
Canvas blocks with a choice of two laminate finishes, two block depths and three edge finishes.
Be aware: an "image wrap" edge may not be appropriate if a picture has important detail near the edge. Please get in touch for advice.

Images are photographically printed on quality Fuji DP2 paper maximum contrast, are laminated and come in a Satin finish with UV protection.

Fine ART Float Frames
Printed with a Cotton Smooth finish, a white based subtly textured fine art print. The Fine Art Float Frame is a multi-level framed wall print with a protective acrylic. A choice of 6 frame colours is available with subtle grained wood effect.
